Benanti Etna Bianco 2019
An outstanding Etna Bianco made with hand-picked grapes from vineyards located on the east and south sides of the Etna volcano, between 700 and 950m a.s.l. Soils are volcanic and rich in mineral with plants aged between 20 and 60 years. The must is wild fermented with selected indigenous yeast and the wine is matured on its lees for 6 months in steel tank, plus 3 months in bottle before release. Lemon peel, green apple, wildflowers and flinty on the nose whilst the palate is dry and mineral with pleasant acidity and great persistency. Great wine with oysters and delicate seafood.
