Domaine Edouard Confuron Pinot Noir 2022

Domaine Édouard Confuron, part of the historic Confuron-Gindre family estate located on Rue de La Tâche, showcases the 2022 Pinot Noir from Edouard Confuron’s own micro-domaine. Following six generations of winemaking, Edouard has developed a distinctive style, marking his first formal release with the 2021 vintage. This Pinot Noir is crafted from handpicked grapes sourced from his father's vineyards across Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Nuits-Saint-Georges, featuring a blend of Croix Blanches below Vosne and Corvée Creunille below Morey.

Tasting Note:
The Pinot Noir 2022 displays a captivating bouquet of ripe red cherries, raspberries, and subtle floral hints, complemented by delicate notes of spice and earth. On the palate, it offers a refined mix of fresh red fruit flavors, plum, and a touch of oak, supported by smooth tannins and vibrant acidity. The result is a well-balanced wine with an elegant, lingering finish, ideal for pairing with roasted poultry, grilled fish, or soft cheeses.
