Our Wine

The Wine Library is one of Sydney’s original wine bars firmly establishing itself as a Sydney institution.

This cosy and intimate neighbourhood wine bar and restaurant is tucked away at the top of Oxford Street in Woollahra, Sydney in the Eastern suburbs. The wine Library serves share plates accompanied by wines hand chosen from across the globe.

The Wine Library has continued a legacy of it’s award winning wine list; focusing on the eclectic with a lean towards natural wine including orange, skin contact, organic & biodynamic wine, however, there are wines for all tastes and preferences. Our list includes rare, aged and old vintage wines averaging 500 wines by the bottle & 65 by the glass.

Sommelier Tim Perlstone has traveled and worked a world of wine. He has participated in many Sommelier competitions including Australia’s sommelier of the year, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Jeaune sommelier competition.

Tim has won a multitude of awards and scholarships including the Ruinart Challenge and the Lorenzo Galli to name a few.

He is now currently studying for the coveted title of Master Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers.
