Domaine Weinbach ‘Cuvee Theo’ 2020 Riesling
Domaine Weinbach is an icon of the Alsace wine region, a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture and winemaking, and producer of some of the world's greatest aromatic wines.
Located the foot of the majestic Schlossberg hill, Domaine Weinbach is a “stream of wine”, named after the small waterway that traverses the property, and dates back all the way to 1612 when it was established by Capuchin monks.
Cuvee Theo Riesling comes exclusively from the monopole Le Clos des Capucins (named from the Capuchin friars who arrived here in 1619), at the base of the famed Schlossberg hill.
A lighter style then its celebrated stable mates but certainly fleshier and richer than most Australians. Citrus, white blossom florals, herbals... then finishes with a zing fling.
